The BioUML platform, which is the computational part of the Biosoft project, is an Open Modular Information Platform for Biomedical Data Analysis. Some modules of this platform have already been written and are now being successfully used in biomedical data analysis. But the platform is open to new modules and we are looking for off-site developers that are interested in preparing new modules.
All the modules, developed by third-party programmers, should be uploaded by them to BioUML platform. These modules will be admitted to be intellectual property of these third-party developers but some restrictions on the module licensing and price policy may appear (before uploading the module to the platform, the developer electronically signs an agreement which explains all the details of the deal). Once the module was uploaded to the platform and checked by Biosoft representatives, it becomes available online via the BioUML platform. The developer of the module gets royalty payments each time the module is being purchased (purchasing fees and terms are set according to Biosoft licensing policy).
